Our Wedding

It all started on Raya - a modern love story for two people who were clearly meant to find each other. On February 22, 2024, Kris picked Kim up from her office in an Uber, and they headed to a cozy cocktail bar in Flatiron. From the moment they met, Kim knew she wanted Kris in her life forever - he was funny, charming, and instantly easy to be around. It didn't take long for Kris's love of martinis to make itself known, and for Kim's love of spicy margaritas to become his personal challenge. By their third date, Kris had perfected the ultimate spicy marg, introduced his signature cheese plates, and Kim was pretty happy she now had her own personal bartender and chef. From weathering a hurricane in Mexico for Kris’s 36th birthday, to celebrating Kim’s in Bermuda, to the Breeder’s Cup on the West Coast, weekends in the Hamptons, Miami escapes, and Kris’s 15th Holy Cross reunion — their relationship quickly turned into a highlight reel of adventures. Kris kept Kim moving, laughing, and loving every minute. The rest, as they say, was history. For the next adventure, fast forward to August 4, 2025 - the day before a trip to Italy - when Kris proposed at home, just the two of them. Simple, intimate, and completely them. (And, as Kris will tell you, there was no way he was traveling internationally with that ring!) Kim returned home with a heavier hand, Kris a lighter wallet, and both a newfound love of Puglia. Now, they’re ready for their biggest adventure yet — forever — and they can’t wait to celebrate it with all the people they love most. Getting

For most of Kim's family, it will be a quick trip from Brooklyn, while for most of Kris' family, it may be a bit more of an adventure. No matter where you're coming from, we're grateful for the effort you're making to be with us. Should you need assistance with directions or travel recommendations, please don't hesitate to contact us. Please note that NYC traffic can be heavier during peak travel hours.

Staying

We have reserved a room block at <a href="https://www.universityclubny.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">The University Club</a> for ease and centrality. You can't get much closer to the center of Manhattan than <a href="https://www.google.com/maps/place/The+University+Club+of+New+York/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0xa2a699258d8bda7f?sa=X&amp;ved=1t:2428&amp;ictx=111" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Fifth Avenue at 54th Street</a>! Guests interested in booking overnight accommodations can contact the front desk at 212-572-3415 or 212-572-3416 and reference “The Zelesky/Reitano Wedding” for the discounted rate. The room block is available from Friday, February 27 through Sunday, March 1. If you plan to stay in NYC a bit longer, please let us know. We have arranged for several room types available: Twin Beds, Double Beds, Deluxe Queen, Deluxe King, Junior Suite, 1 Bedroom Suite; the larger rooms are perfect for sharing with family/friends. A cutoff date of January 28th has been established for the room block. After this date, any unreserved rooms will be released back into The University Club's general inventory and may become unavailable. For guests seeking a more cost-effective alternative, accommodations are also available at the <a href="https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/ewrsl-sheraton-lincoln-harbor-hotel/overview/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Sheraton Lincoln Harbor</a> in Weehawken, NJ. Travel to/from The University Club is easily accessible via Uber/Lyft. If interested in this option, please contact us for more information.

Parking

Please note that valet parking services are not available. The University Club maintains an agreement with a parking garage located one block from the club. <a href="https://abmparking.com/facilities/17-east-54th-street-parking/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">ABM Parking</a> (17 East 54th Street) - $20 for 12 hours; $38 for 24 hoursYou must get your parking ticket validated by the doorman to qualify for the discounted rate.

Itinerary

What is the dress code? 

As noted on the invitation, the attire for the evening is black-tie-optional. Black-tie-optional allows guests the choice of traditional black-tie attire (an evening gown or a tuxedo), while also welcoming formal eveningwear such as a dark suit or long, formal dress. Please note, sneakers are not permitted. The University Club is one of the last places in Manhattan to support a time-honored dress code policy. If you are staying at the Club, we kindly ask that you review their <a href="https://www.universityclubny.org/default.aspx?p=DynamicModule&amp;pageid=394574&amp;ssid=316865&amp;vnf=1" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">House Rules</a> and dress code guidelines for all public areas of the Club House.

What can I do after Mass and before Cocktail Hour?

As noted previously, The University Club is located in the <a href="https://www.google.com/maps/place/The+University+Club+of+New+York/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0xa2a699258d8bda7f?sa=X&amp;ved=1t:2428&amp;ictx=111" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">center</a> of Midtown Manhattan, as such there is plenty to do between 4:30PM-6:00PM. Below are a few of our favorite nearby options. Kris' favorite: A four-block walk south brings you to several iconic New York City landmarks, including <a href="https://www.msg.com/radio-city-music-hall" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Radio City Musical Hall</a>, <a href="https://www.rockefellercenter.com/?utm_source=google&amp;utm_medium=cpc&amp;utm_campaign=18876507579&amp;utm_content=Brand&amp;utm_term=rockefeller%20center&amp;gad_source=1&amp;gad_campaignid=18876507579&amp;gclid=CjwKCAiA_orJBhBNEiwABkdmjJQ_H4OzqE2k5glkDVYMq2h_miSab9WS6Vh76k8AGkZnHoBYVQIGSRoCHQ4QAvD_BwE" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Rockefeller Center</a>, and <a href="https://saintpatrickscathedral.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">St. Patrick’s Cathedral</a>. Our shared favorite: enjoy a signature cocktail at the <a href="https://www.marriott.com/en-us/dining/restaurant-bar/nycxr-the-st-regis-new-york/6359135-king-cole-bar.mi" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">King Cole Bar</a> at the St. Regis. We recommend their iconic “Red Snapper” also known as a Bloody Mary, where the miracle elixir was concocted nearly 100 years ago.

Is there parking at The University Club?

Can I bring children and/or a guest? 

We would love to celebrate with everyone, but due to venue limitations and planning considerations, we kindly ask that attendance be limited to those listed on the invitation. If you have a unique circumstance or any questions, please feel free to reach out - we will do our best to accommodate where possible.
